4 Edges Processing for Custom Iron On Patches

Overlocked Edge
It is also called merrowed, or stitch edge, it works well with simple and regular shapes like round, oval, square, triangle and rectangle. The edge is machine-sewnIt, use a specified color of thread to sew on the outer edge of the patch to seal it. and offers added durability with a traditional look that accentuates the design.

Embroidered Edge
It is suitable for relatively complex designs, the edges are directly embroidered into the patch to achieve a detailed edge. Then hot-cut or laser-cut the edges, and sealed together (sometimes called border baking), the contrasting color base fabric can be seen along the edge, making the patch more detailed and textured, and it fits clothes and hats better.

No Border
It works best on more complex or custom irregularly shaped patches with uneven edges. And for patches smaller than 3cm,, it will be more difficult to embroider or overlock edges. Therefore the stitches are secured with simple interior loop stitch and use laser-cut edge.Maybe your only choice. The edges are thin, simple and flat, making it a better fit for any product.
